A physical installation designed to allow guests access to information about environmental reasonings for architectural choices made for Las Vegas Springs Preserve.
My involvement with this project:
- Machining/fabrication of various parts for prototyping the viewer
- Installation and wiring of internal electronics: touchscreen, position sensing equipment, heating/cooling unit (viewer is installed in an external space in Las Vegas!)
- Programming of a show controller that tells exhibit computers which direction each viewer is facing
- Programming of flash software that presents images and flash-based assets to the users based on the direction the viewers are facing
- Final installation and testing of 3 viewers at the LVSP museum
