Periscope-like viewers designed to give museum guests a peek at desert life. Built for the Las Vegas Springs Preserve museum.
My involvement with this project:
- Machining/fabrication of various parts of the viewer, specifically the bushing system enabling rotation
- Installation and wiring of internal electronics: an lcd screen, button, and position sensing electronics for horizontal and vertical position
- Programming of a show controller that tells exhibit computers which direction each viewer is facing
- Final installation and testing of 3 viewers at the LVSP museum
